REGULAR MEETING AND PUBLIC HEARNING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Okeechobee Utility Authority will meet in regular session on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 8:00 A.M., at the Okeechobee Utility Authority, 100 SW 5th Ave., Okeechobee, Florida.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Okeechobee Utility Authority will hold a Public Hearing as soon after 8:00 A.M. as possible to consider Resolution 26-04 dealing with Schedule of Rates, Fees and Charges. A copy of the proposed Resolution is available for viewing at the office of the Executive Director, Okeechobee Utility Authority Offices, 100 SW 5th Avenue, Okeechobee, Florida.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Okeechobee Utility Authority will hold a Public Hearing as soon after 8:30 A.M. as possible to consider Resolution 26-02 to consider the adoption of FY27 Budget of Okeechobee Utility Authority. A copy of the proposed Resolution is available for viewing at the office of the Executive Director, Okeechobee Utility Authority Offices, 100 SW 5th Avenue, Okeechobee, Florida.

All interested parties for or against the proposed Resolutions can be heard at said time and place.  The needs of hearing or visually impaired persons shall be met by contacting the Executive Director’s Office at 863-763-9460 at least 48 hours prior to the Public Hearing by any person wishing assistance.

            Pursuant to Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, if a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Authority with respect to such meetings, he or she will need a record of proceedings and for such purpose may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made; which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based.  Such person may provide a court reporter, stenographer, or tape recorder for such verbatim record.
