Lift Station NW-15 Improvements (EQUIPMENT ONLY)
Invitation to Bid
Sealed Proposals for equipment to support the Okeechobee Utility Authority Improvements to Lift Station NW-15 addressed to the Okeechobee Utility Authority will be received at 100 SW 5th Avenue, Okeechobee, Florida, 34974 until 3:00p.m., the 8th day of January 2026, and will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any bids received after the time and date will not be accepted or considered.
The project consists of furnishing specified equipment and materials for the construction of improvements to the NW-15 Lift Station (future project, by others). The equipment contemplated under this Bid include pumps, electrical equipment, flow meter and appurtenances as described in the Bid Documents and Specifications.
Bid Documents and Specifications, in electronic (pdf) format, may be obtained from the OWNER indicated above or the ENGINEER, Sumner Engineering & Consulting, Inc., 410 NW 2nd Street, Okeechobee, FL 34972.

Each Proposal must be submitted on the prescribed form. The bid form must be filled in completely and accurately, particularly as it pertains to alternate bid items.
Before a Purchase Order will be issued for the equipment and materials contemplated herein, the OWNER/ENGINEER will conduct such investigation as is necessary to determine the performance record and ability of the apparent low Bidder to perform the size and type of Work specified under this Contract. Upon request, the Bidder shall submit such information as deemed necessary by the OWNER to evaluate the Bidder's qualifications.
The Okeechobee Utility Authority reserves the right to waive informalities in the bid, reject all Proposals or any Proposal not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Contract Documents, and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time which, however, shall not extend beyond forty-five (45) calendar days from the bid opening date.
