Paid Bi-Weekly by Direct Deposit
$300 per year uniform allotment (except admin)
$150 per year safety footwear allotment (except admin)
Company paid training for schooling, certifications and licensing.
Health Insurance: Florida Blue
- OUA Monthly Contribution Allowance for:
- Employee Only = $1200
- Employee + child or spouse = $1525
- Family = $1850
- (can be used toward: medical, dental, vision, and supplemental plans)
All employees and family that are on OUA health insurance can go to Urgent Care at no cost. (Okeechobee, Sebring and Jensen Beach locations)
Retirement: Okeechobee Utility Authority has a Defined Pension Plan. Employees are vested after five years of service. Each member is required to make a mandatory 6% contribution of their gross salary towards their plan.
457b deferred compensation plan (voluntary participation)
Company paid Life Insurance of $50,000 effective 1st day of starting work.
Company paid Long Term Disability benefit
Employee Recognition % of Annual Salary Paid out every 5 years of service (i.e. 5, 10, 15 etc.)
Paid Holidays: time off with pay to all active employees on the holidays listed provided the holiday falls on your regularly scheduled workday.
